Gives excellent detail for stills — good for cropping, large prints, etc. Helps a lot with handheld shots / low light. Especially useful if you haven’t got ultra-fast lenses. Can record up to 6.2K at 30fps internal. Can record up to 6.2K at 30fps internal. For static subjects (still life, product, architecture) you can get ~160MP equivalent via pixel shift. Great for fine detail. 425 point hybrid autofocusing, with detection of people / animals / vehicles, good low-light AF sensitivity.

Cons

40 MP RAWs are big; pixel shift files much bigger. You’ll need fast cards, lots of storage, and possibly high-spec computer for editing. The X-T5 uses a 3-way tilting screen (tilt up/down, sideways) but not a fully forward-facing flip screen. For vloggers / selfie video creators, this is a limitation.
